Carol Devine-Molin you are no Ronald Reagan
|Hippolyte Queen of the Amazons
Children, savages, and true believers
remember far less what they have seen than what they have heard. - Eric Hoffer
|Don't call me a NeoCon
The true believer is in a high degree protected against the danger of certain
neurotic afflictions; by accepting the universal neurosis he or she is spared the task of forming a personal neurosis. - Sigmund
So a familiar EtherZone pundit, Carol Devine-Molin cries out - "I'm a mainstream conservative, plain and simple." . .
. "In fact, many of us still continue to refer to ourselves as "Reaganites" and hold the same political ideals
. . . " "Let me reiterate that we mainstream conservatives are no warmongers!"
If only that was true . . . We have done this drill before and have demonstrated
that those Republican loyalists, who claim to be conservative, don’t have a clue as to what they are saying. The excellent
EtherZone essay: THE MYTH OF GOP CONSERVATISM by Kevin Tuma presents the ugly truth, an accurate indictment about the Republican
Party. For the record the three true conservatives that carried the GOP banner from the last half century were: Senator Robert A. Taft, Senator Barry Goldwater, and President Ronald Reagan.
In order to understand the mindset of the Carol Devine-Molin and her clones,
one needs to grasp the nature of the ‘true believer’. Some true believers react with an intense savagery, quite unexpected to the un-forewarned, at the merest hint
that anyone is even contemplating questioning their treasured beliefs. Within our fierce warrior, the exegesis, lies the attributes
of Codependency. Ask yourselves which of these characteristics apply to Ms C D-M:
My mental attention focuses on solving your problems/relieving your pain
My mental attention is focused on protecting you
My mental attention is focused on manipulating you to do it my way
My self-esteem is bolstered by solving your problems
My self-esteem is bolstered by relieving your pain
My fear of rejection determines what I say or do
My fear of your anger determines what I say or do
The dreams I have for my future are linked to you
My good feelings about who I am stem from being liked by you
My good feelings about who I am stem from receiving approval from you
The quality of my life is in relation to the quality of yours
Anyone observe any of these traits in the ‘so called’ self proclaimed
conservative? Well, maybe you would prefer facts, instead of psychoanalysis. While Ronald Reagan was a president of immense
personal courage and character, who in there right mind would contend that his administration was filled with genuine conservatives?
Consider this assessment of the Reagan administration from our insightful
EtherZone strategic director, Todd Fahey:
" he filled his Cabinet and essential personnel w/ Council on Foreign
Relations/Trilateral Commission Globalists (George Schultz, the Malcolm Baldridge, Donald T. Regan, Kirkpatrick, Carla Hills,
George Bush, blahblahblah): AFTER promising in a 1976 campaign speech (when he ran against and almost beat CFR/Trilat member
Gerald Ford) to "purge the Trilateralists from the Federal government."
So we all should ask Ms C-DM, is this the kind of "Reaganites" missionary
you are and try to justify? Are these Republicans consistant within the historic conservative tradition? If we "Hard Right"
are distasteful to you, it should be easy to understand why you cull under a Bush. Junior may fulfill your needs, but for
the rest of us "Old Guard" Americans - King George II is not our idea of a conservative. Even a ‘true deceiver’
would have to admit that our Skull and Bones temporary fearless leader is no Ronald Reagan . . .
Now you want us to accept that your version of Republicanism are not warmongers!
Well, the time you miss lying on the couch only inhibits the progress with your therapy. No wonder you repulse from the label
NeoCon . . . No need to bestrew insults with such a vulgar monogram on a modern day advocate for the Bush formula, for in
your own words, "reining in the size and scope of government". Such a tag demeans your abilities
and skills as a warrior - in the cause of defending the empire. You deserve better !!!
Since the codependency need is endemic, only a leader of your stature can
wear the crown befitting the heritage you so closely identify with and promote. An aggressor Amazon Queen - Hippolyte (pronounced: Hip-POLLY-tee). Who could doubt the cause you champion! The desolation
of the infidels justifies any means. Did not Eurystheus send Hercules to belt that tribe of fanatics? The present your clan
will offer your king may well end with the same fate as in the ninth labor. No; your hero won’t bring about a rebirth,
but will inflict only death.
Why does your crowd oppose legitimate inquiry into the events that we all
agree were atrocities? Where is the proof that Iraq was responsible for 911 and that a perpetual war is rightful and
necessary? Why avoid the role of the Carlyle Group, its desire to control oil reserves and its ties to the Bush administration?
Or would you rather just accept the motives and loyalities of Paul Wolfowitz and all the other dual passport holders in the
foreign policy click?
Justification for your "war on terrorism", rests upon the truth and accuracy
of official accounts. Could it be that the codependency impairment requires you to accept the conclusions of the Warren Commission,
as well? Or were you one of the investigators in Fort Marcy Park - Vince Foster would like to know . . . Intelligent, honest
and sincere Americans have serious doubts in the wisdom of the policies that you support. That’s why you are deviant,
while maintaining your credentials as a mainstream Republican. The issue has always been - the GOP abandoned and betrays their
But what paleoconservative can resist the charms of your feminine ways? You
win. We won’t call you our token NeoConservative. How about our official ‘true Shrub believer’ or our resident
codependent CFR aspirant? Both have a better ring than a disturbed patient in continual rehab . . . . Or are you just content
with sharing your denial with Terry McAulliffe in a group session?
Which would you prefer - Hippolyte?
